The Challenge

Electric vehicles (EVs) were everywhere in conversation — but confusion was too. Range, charging, battery life, maintenance — questions stacked up faster than answers.

To launch the all-new Bolt EV and Bolt EUV, Chevrolet wanted to do something no other brand had done before:


create an intelligent, human-like digital ambassador that could explain everything about the vehicles in real time, learn from every interaction, and make the experience feel genuinely personal — not robotic.

We created EVE — Chevrolet’s digital product specialist built in Epic’s Metahuman and powered by pixel streaming and machine learning.


Visitors could chat naturally with EVE — by voice or text — as she guided them through the Bolt EV and Bolt EUV. Each interaction was transcribed live, giving users the option to talk or type seamlessly.

Her personality was designed for the Canadian audience — smart, friendly, and relatable — with gestures, micro-expressions, and eye movement animated in real time to create a sense of presence and trust.

And when Chevrolet’s new electric blue identity rolled out partway through, we re-skinned the entire experience without missing a beat — thanks to a robust, scalable design system in Sketch and Figma.
